Dear Students,
As we all know Education has always played an important role in the life of man, has gained lots of importance in the present time because it determines the success today. The current development has brought forth a variety of new avenues, fields, areas and opportunities which is an ideal situation for those who want to work hard for self satisfaction and high earning.
I am glad to note that Manoharrao Kamdi Mahavidyalaya and its team is bringing out its annual magazine Aradhana 2019. I appreciate the far sighted vision and concentrated efforts being put in by all the staff members to materialize our dream of an institution to cater to the needy students so that they can acquire modern and democratic thoughts to attain a well balanced personality. The importance of education for growth and development of the country is well recognized so that the students are able to face the challenges boldly and think innovatively.
The aim is to make them successful not only in life, but also to make them conscious of their duties and responsibilities towards their fellow citizens. We believe that education should enable the students to soar high, morally, socially and spiritually. We need to believe that our students need to learn that the secret of success and contentment lies in discovering one’s strength as well as limitations, enabling each person to grasp and appreciate the individuality of others and discover one’s own self, through an inner journey whose milestones are knowledge, introspection and humility. There is therefore, every reason to place a renewed emphasis on the humanistic dimensions.
I believe that the students are the touchstone by which the progress of a nation is measured in today’s time. As the country stands proud on the brisk of an exciting future, the student is as important as anything else. We aim to lend a gentle guiding hand so that our students recognize their inner potential and grow. We stress much importance on extracurricular activities so that the students are supported and helped in every way to develop their talents in all fields in our youth, during their education, is a finely ingrained attitude of service before self. I am happy to know that our college is trying to radically transform the whole set of educational practice. I congratulate the staff members for this special endeavor and send my felicitations especially to the editorial team for bringing out this issue of the magazine and the students to autograph their work with excellence. I wish all the best and pray to Almighty to bless us for the noble cause of education.
