Manoharrao Kamdi Mahavidylaya is a part of one of the oldest and reputed colleges in Nagpur, a city of Oranges, located in the heart of the city. Though in the city but still is situated away from the hustle bustlke against the backdrop of a green covered blanket, amongst a serene, beautiful ambience conducive for pursuing academics. This esteemed Institution is functioning under the aegis of Mahatma Bahuuddheshiya Shikshan Sanstha which was founded in the year 1984. The same sapling grew into a large evergreen tree for more than 30 decades, to educate the masses especially the students coming from economically backward community to promote equity and quality in education. The college runs senior and junior Arts and Commerce streams with undergraduate courses affiliated to RTM, Nagpur university, rendering its noble pursuit of knowledge ushering the young minds from ignorance to enlightenment.
Apart from teaching and learning, the college is best known for its extracurricular activities, lecture series, organises various webinars and conducts programmes in note worthy topics for the overall development of the students.
